Pulse Mobile App Privacy Policy
Introduction
Pulsed Power Technologies, LLC dba Pulse PEMF (“Company” or “We“) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes:
- The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you download, install, access, or use this application (the “App“).
- Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies only to information we collect in this App.
This policy DOES NOT apply to information that:
- We collect offline or on any other Company apps or websites, including websites you may access through this App.
- You provide to or is collected by any third party.
Our websites and apps and these other third parties may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read before providing information on or through them.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use this App. By downloading, registering with, or using this App, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of this App after we revise this policy means you accept those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
Children Under the Age of 13
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at mobile@pulsepemf.com.
Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect information from and about users of our App:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us.
- Automatically when you use the App.
Information You Provide to Us
When you download, register with, or use this App, we may ask you to provide the following information:
- By which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address or email address, and telephone number (“personal information“).
- That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as information about your use, experiences with, and feedback on our products.
This information includes:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms in the App. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the App and at any time you provide information on your usage of our products. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with the App.
- Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses and phone numbers) if you contact us.
Automatic Information Collection
When you download, access, and use the App, it may use technology to collect automatically:
- Usage Details. When you access and use the App, we may automatically collect specific details of your access to and use of the App, including logs, other communication data, and the resources you access and use on or through the App.
- Device Information. We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device’s unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, mobile network information, and the device’s telephone number.
- Stored Information and Files. The App also may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs, audio and video clips, personal contacts, and address book information.
If you do not want us to collect this information, do not download or delete the app from your device. We also may use these technologies to collect information about your activities over time and across third-party websites, apps, or other online services (behavioral tracking).
Location Data
We may collect information about your precise location to examples of locations offering the Company’s services through our Map Locator feature. Your location can be determined with varying degrees of accuracy by GPS from your device or IP Address.
- Opting Out of Location Data Collection. The first time you use the App, you will be asked if you agree to the App using your precise location using GPS sensors on your device. At this time, you can opt out of location data collection; in this case, we will use your approximate location using your IP Address. This will limit the functionality of the Locator Map. Location data using IP addresses will remain in your device and not be stored in our systems.
- Types of Location Data and Storage. The types of location data we collect and how long we store it depend on your device and account settings. If you prefer not to share your location data, you can opt-out by following the instructions below.
- To opt out of data collection on iPhone:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and select the app for which you want to turn off the precise location.
- Tap on the “Location” option.
- Select “Never” to disable location tracking for that app altogether, or select “While Using the App” to limit location tracking only when you are actively using the app.
- If the app has the option for “Precise Location,” toggle it off to disable it.
- To opt out of data collection on Android:
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Scroll down and select “Apps & notifications”.
- Select the app for which you want to turn off the precise location.
- Tap on “Permissions.”
- Look for the “Location” option and tap on it.
- Choose “Deny” or “While Using the App” to limit location tracking only when actively using the app.
- If the app has the option for “Precise Location,” toggle it off to disable it.
- Effects of Opting Out of Location Data Collection. After completing these steps, the app can no longer access your precise location data. However, please note that this may affect the app’s functionality, as some features may require location data to work correctly.
- Driving Directions. Please note that driving directions are offered by your default map app on your device, and the data from that activity is not collected by the Company. Any such data should be covered under the terms and conditions of the map app.
